- Population and dissenters: There are in this Parish forty Families: of These There are fourteen Dissenters; viz Presbyterians – five. Arians five: Antipædobaptists three. Papist – one. There is a Licenced Meeting House in this Parish, belonging to the Presbyterians; and their Teachers officiate in it alternately, every Lords day.
- Public or charity schools: There is in this Parish a Charity School, endowd with a House, and Salary of fifty pounds a year whereof forty pounds to the Head Master, with ye House and eight pounds to {ye} an Usher; and two pounds towards the Expence of the Trustees in visiting: and the number of Children to be taught both reading & writing is forty – Freemens sons. But of late the Executor of the Donor has refusd to pay ye Salary.
- Alms-house, hospital or charitable endowment:
There is no Alms-House or Hospital within this Parish. There are Lands and Tenements belonging to this Parish but I don’t know of any left for the repair of the {repair of the} Church, or other pious uses.
- Residence upon cure: For want of a House in ye Parish I do not reside on the Cure – but at Bradninch within the City of Exeter.
- Curate: I have no Curate.
- Divine service at other churches: No.
- Frequency of divine service: I hold the Church of St Kerrian with that of St Petrock – and the Ch: of St Kerrian being not large enough, Divine Service for both Parishes is performd at the Church of St Petrock.
- Frequency of communion: The Sacrament for this Parish is administerd in the Ch: of St Petrock, once a month.
- Number of communicants: There are in this Parish about thirty Communicants. There usually receive from fifteen to twenty, at Easter {between} about twenty five.
- Catechising of children: The Children of this Parish are Chatechizd at the same time with the Children of St Petrock and at that Church. I know none but what are Instructed in their Chatechism. They are always Examind before Confirmation.
- Chapels or chapels in ruins: There is no Chapel within this Parish.
